South Western Scaffolding has the knowledge and experience to offer contractors of all sizes the service and reliability they require to complete their project to the highest standard and just as importantly on time. We can provide contractors with quotations at the tendering stage to help them gain success in their bid to win a contract.
Over the years South Western Scaffolding have been involved in countless renovation projects on historical buildings having been the nominated contractor on some projects due to our reliability and competence. We work closely with the Architect, Contractor and Structural Engineer to design and erect the scaffolding to achieve safe access to all areas required whilst maintaining and protecting the buildings natural beauty.
South Western Scaffolding has erected temporary roof enclosures for many types of construction work. These include; extensions, re-roofs, loft conversions and fire damaged buildings. The temporary weather enclosure can fully protect the exposed working area avoiding any water damage as well as ensuring tradesman are not restricted by bad weather and deadlines are met.
South Western Scaffolding have erected specialist scaffolds for many different types of projects. We have operatives trained in confined space entry and have provided specially designed scaffold structures inside confined spaces including; shoring scaffolds, access staircases and furnace access.
Bespoke scaffolds that exceed the criteria written in the TG20:13 user guide require designs and calculations which must be produced by a structural engineer. South Western Scaffolding work closely with a local design team enabling us to put your ideas and requirements into 3D computerized images showing the layout of a proposed scaffold structure and calculations specifying its loading capabilities.
Scaffolding structures must be inspected by a competent person, before use, at intervals not exceeding 7 days, after extreme weather conditions and after any alterations carried out by the scaffold contractor. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure these inspections are carried out and written records are kept on site. At South Western Scaffolding we have in house Advanced Scaffold Inspectors to insure that your scaffold remains in a safe condition throughout its time on your project.
